I’ve received a number of residents’ complaints about the demolition of the Russell & Bromley site on Farwig Lane. This land is due to be turned into a 24 hour, 7 day a week industrial site, and the demolition and subsequent land compaction work has caused many residents to complain to me about the noise and vibrations. I have been liaising extensively with Bromley Council officers and Bromley Town Councillors (as this development is a few feet inside their ward) and I have spoken with the co-founder of the development company. He told me there will be a public engagement session shortly for nearby residents and I have asked that Plaistow and Bromley Town ward Councillors are invited.
